She was born in 1990 in Ptuj, Slovenia. In 2011 she graduated at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of arts, Department of ethnology and cultural anthropology with the thesis on understanding local ethnographic collections in the context of local communities. At the same faculty she finished her MA studies in 2016 with the thematic focus in material culture studies. Currently she is working on her PhD thesis. 

From 2018 she is working as a researcher at the Faculty of electrical engineering, Laboratory for telecommunications and from 2019 also as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of arts, Department of ethnology and cultural anthropology.
