She was born in 1990 in Maribor, where she completed high school and conservatory of music. In 2012, she graduated at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Antropology with the thesis on multiculturalism in Norway. In 2016, she finished her MA studies with the thesis Names between invention and convetion: Naming practices among mixed families in Iceland. She participated in numerous study exchanges and fieldworks (University of Bergen, Norway; University of Stockholm, Sweden; University of Vienna, Austria; University of Iceland, Iceland) for which she was granted many scholarships (Zois scholarship, Erasmus scholarship, scholarship of Norwegian Financial Mechanism). Apart from study and research, she is active in the fields of literature and music.
