Biography

Mirjam Mencej is full professor of Folklore Studies at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology.

 

Teaching experiences

She teaches Folklorististics, Traditional European Folk Beliefs, Introduction to Mythology and Ethnology of Witchcraft.

She gave lectures at the Universities in Macedonia, Slovakia, Serbia, Germany, Russia, Poland, Great Britain and Finland and is an appointed visiting professor at the PhD programme of the University in Zagreb, Croatia.
